If you are contemplating upgrading your
unit, you must contact the management
company before taking any action.
Upgrades such as Satellite Dish, Lattice
Work, Landscaping, interior
modifications etc.,
ALL require the authorization of the trustees. If you
upgrade any exterior portion of your unit, you assume all
responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of your
upgrade. When you sell your unit the upgrade (and its
responsibility) transfers to the new owner. The board
of trustees retains the right at any time to request that
you return the upgrade back to the original condition at
your request. If you have general questions about
upgrades, please contact the management company. Below
are some examples of unit upgrades both authorized and
unauthorized.
Proper Upgrades:




The upgrades above were all done according to spec and
regulation. (Above left) Door, solid/single pane of
glass with no breaks or horizontal bars. (Top Center)
Satellite Dish properly mounted to deck and of appropriate
size. (Top right) Deck gate matching look and
style of decking. (Above) Walkway installed properly
by licensed contractor.
Improper Upgrades:
(Above Left) Door maintains
the look and feel however the breaks in the glass via the
horizontal white bars are not conforming to the
standard. (Above right) Satellite dish installed
on siding. (Above) Hammock in common area.
It can be used but must be removed when not in use.
(Below) Deck installed without proper authorization
and installed improperly. As you can see by the
curvature of the walkway that the bricks have begun to
buckle and become a tripping hazard.
