Upgrades

If you are contemplating upgrading your unit, you must contact the management company before taking any action.  Upgrades such as Satellite Dish, Lattice Work, Landscaping, interior modifications etc., ALL require the authorization of the trustees.  If you upgrade any exterior portion of your unit, you assume all responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of your upgrade.  When you sell your unit the upgrade (and its responsibility) transfers to the new owner.  The board of trustees retains the right at any time to request that you return the upgrade back to the original condition at your request.  If you have general questions about upgrades, please contact the management company.  Below are some examples of unit upgrades both authorized and unauthorized.

Proper Upgrades:

The upgrades above were all done according to spec and regulation.  (Above left) Door, solid/single pane of glass with no breaks or horizontal bars.  (Top Center) Satellite Dish properly mounted to deck and of appropriate size.  (Top right)  Deck gate matching look and style of decking. (Above)  Walkway installed properly by licensed contractor.

Improper Upgrades:

(Above Left)  Door maintains the look and feel however the breaks in the glass via the horizontal white bars are not conforming to the standard.  (Above right)  Satellite dish installed on siding.  (Above)  Hammock in common area.  It can be used but must be removed when not in use.  (Below)  Deck installed without proper authorization and installed improperly.  As you can see by the curvature of the walkway that the bricks have begun to buckle and become a tripping hazard.
